Bengali Association of Atlantic Canada’s (BAAC) first ever EMagazine – আলাপ (Alaap)
At it’s heart, this magazine was born out of BAAC’s passion and vision to uphold our rich culture and heritage. Our culture lives in our language, traditions, food, music, rituals and in our everyday lives. But in our fast-paced lives, at times it takes a backseat. This magazine is our way to reclaiming that space. We wanted to create a platform that honours the depth and diversity of our cultural heritage. And what better way than to invite the voices of the community members themselves, to express themselves, via articles, paintings, pictures etc. We are here to document it all.
